Some Sun and Sony Monitors

My roommate Chris Daniel and I (mostly Chris) have amassed a large number of monitors. Most of the various types are described below.

Note: I haven't actually updated the information in this page since December 1996. Sorry. But perhaps the information on these older monitors will be useful to you.

Also, you should note that if you have a PC, you will almost certainly not be able to make these monitors function with it. These monitors were made for graphics workstations in the days before multisync, and your PC isn't designed to run at the particular scan rates that these monitors require. There may be frame buffers ("video cards" to the PC folk) out there that can drive them, but I honestly don't know the first thing about them. Again, sorry.
